About This Place

Located in the heart of Miami’s vibrant Little Havana, Versailles Restaurant Cuban Cuisine stands as a true culinary landmark, delivering an authentic taste of Cuba that captivates locals and visitors alike. This iconic Cuban restaurant showcases a rich menu brimming with traditional favorites that transport your palate straight to the streets of Havana.

The moment you step inside Versailles, the atmosphere buzzes with lively energy and a comforting sense of community. The spacious interior, capable of seating around 300 guests, hums with the harmonious orchestration of highly efficient service—servers dedicated to food delivery, order-taking, and table clearing move seamlessly, creating a dining experience that feels both dynamic and effortless despite the restaurant’s popularity.

Dive into a sensory feast with their Pollo Versailles, a succulent, well-seasoned dish that highlights the deep, rustic flavors of Cuban home cooking. Don't miss the legendary Sandwich Pavo Pan Cubano or the Versailles Especial sandwich—layered with sweet ham, roast pork, Swiss cheese, and Spanish sausage nestled inside perfectly toasted Cuban bread, complimented by tangy mustard and pickles, offering a satisfying crunch and a burst of flavor in every bite.

For soup lovers, the variety is a comforting journey through Cuban staples: from the hearty Black Bean Soup and velvety Cream of Malanga to the savory Chicken Soup and exotic Galician White Bean Soup. Each spoonful is warming and rich, instantly making you feel at home.

Pair your meal with the iconic Café Cubano, a robust and aromatic espresso shot that perfectly balances the heartiness of your dishes. And be sure to sip on a freshly made Mojito Cubano – arguably some of the best mojitos in Miami, bursting with fresh mint and just the right touch of sweetness and lime.

The bakery section beckons after your main course with an irresistible array of pastries, including the classic Key Lime Pie and a selection of Assorted Empanadas. According to many satisfied customers, grabbing a café Cubano and pastry at the outside counter on your way out is a tradition worth indulging in.

What truly elevates Versailles beyond just food is the sense of nostalgia and bold Cuban flair it exudes. Customer reviews consistently highlight not only the robust and comforting flavors—like perfectly cooked shrimp in creole sauce or the crave-worthy roast pork Cuban style—but also the warm, attentive staff who make each visit pleasant and memorable.

While it’s undeniable that Versailles has grown into a bustling Miami institution, some long-time patrons note slight shifts in certain details, such as food temperature or pricing, yet the overall experience remains deeply satisfying and worthwhile. Whether you’re starting your day with their hearty breakfast sandwiches, such as the Spanish omelet on Cuban bread, or winding down with classic fried plantains and Arroz Imperial, Versailles delivers an epicurean journey filled with passion and authenticity.

In essence, Versailles Restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a vibrant cultural experience where every bite tells a story, every aroma evokes memory, and every visit feels like coming home. For anyone seeking an unparalleled Cuban dining adventure in Miami, Versailles stands as the quintessential destination.

Super busy, but for a good reason. The food is fantastic. One of the better Cuban sandwiches I've had, and the picadillo enpanada and yucca fries were spot on. Friendly and attentive staff added to the enjoyable experience. Don't forget to grab a café Cubano and a pastry at the outside counter on the way out

This is a very famous Cuban restaurant so we had to come here to give the food a try. The restaurant is massive and seats around 300 people and yet the service is extremely efficient – you have people dedicated just for delivering food to your table, staff just for cleaning the table, staff just for getting the orders, etc. I am impressed by how well oiled the system is. With regards to the food, we got the Cuban samples plate – if you are not American or you have not been exposed to the sheer size of the dishes here, be prepared because this feels like it could feed for two people. The food however is extreme tasty and I would highly recommend this because it gives you samples from different types of meat.

**Colby Restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. Due to its high popularity and large number of visitors, a reservation is required or guests may need to wait approximately half an hour. It is a wonderful and distinctive dining experience, and a highly recommended stop for anyone wishing to experience Colombian cuisine.**

I LOVE this place. Best mojitos I've had. We ordered the Shrimp in Creole Sauce and Roast Pork Cuban Style. The shrimp was cooked very well, but I ultimately preferred the roast pork dish. In the past I've ordered the Churrasco Versailles steak and that has prob been my favorite dish. Also make sure to stop by the bakery after for some espresso and baked goods. All were tasty and affordable

I grew up in Miami so I am biased. They used to bring out a basket of garlic bread, complimentary. Obviously the place took off to the stratosphere… so quality has come down a bit. Still very good. But on a Friday AFTERNOON my food wasn’t even hot. Mojito needed to be mixed (still the best in town). Prices have gone up, but still a great value compared to everywhere else. Line goes fast. Recommended! It’s iconic.

You will leave happier than when you arrived. Founder Felipe Valls Sr. long standing goal achieved! The restaurant and location are genius, restaurant, walk up “La Ventanita”, bakery and outdoor, casual seating make one imagine the storied 50+ year history. We went for lunch on a Monday. The large restaurant was packed with mostly locals. The Mojito with a piece of sugar cane was one of the best my partner has ever had. The food was very good. Ceviche, a Sampler Plate with Empañadas, Croquettes and Fried Yucca started us off. Mains were the Specialty Cuban Sandwich, and a Mixed Plate of Roasted Pork, Black Beans, Rice, Boiled Yucca and Plantains. We ended with Coconut Flan and Cuban Creme Caramel. And of course a Cafe Cubano. A feast that exceeded our expectations. Finally, prices are incredibly reasonable driving great value. Lives up to its’ motto “The World’s Most Famous Cuban Restaurant”. If you have never been, add this to your must visit list including a Mojito as well. We will next go on a busy evening as I imagine that this is a very lively place once the sun sets.

We visited Versailles Restaurant after reading so many amazing reviews over 26,000 people have rated this place! As tourists, we decided we couldn’t miss it, even though we had to take an Uber for almost half an hour from our hotel. It was totally worth it! Even though the restaurant was very busy, everything was well-organized and smooth. The place was super clean, the staff were polite and professional, and the food was absolutely delicious the rice was fragrant and tasty, and the meat was tender and full of flavor. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the great quality and generous portions. After our meal, we decided to order dessert and coffee, and the staff kindly guided us to their own bakery, which is located right on the same property. The desserts there were fantastic fresh, flavorful, and high quality, and the coffee was rich and smooth. The dessert we ordered was one of their most famous ones, and it’s meant to be enjoyed with their strong Cuban coffee. Since I ordered black tea instead, it felt a bit too sweet for me but that’s just a pairing thing! We also ordered a few items to go, and even though we ate them later when they were cold, they were still very tasty and kept their quality, so we wouldn’t deduct any points for that. The only thing I didn’t really like was that the area for adding the tip was already highlighted with a pen, as if to remind customers not to forget it. I think that’s unnecessary because most people already leave a tip unless they’re unhappy with the service, which definitely wasn’t the case here. Overall, this restaurant truly deserves 5 out of 5 stars. Everything from the food to the service and desserts was excellent. We really enjoyed our experience, and we’ll definitely come back here next time we visit Miami.
